The 2026 Chengdu Motor Show ran from August 21 to August 30 at the Western China International Expo City in Chengdu, Sichuan. The 10-day event gathered around 120 domestic and international automakers showing roughly 1,600 vehicles, and it is the first A-level Chinese auto show of the second half of the year, which makes it the market's clearest read on the months ahead. BYD, Chery, Great Wall Motor, Geely Galaxy, Hongqi, BAIC, Deepal and Voyah all used it to expand their new energy and intelligent vehicle lineups.
