BYD ran a Yangwang U7 for 30,000 km in under nine days at up to 36 degrees Celsius, flash-charging it more than 350 times, and the pack finished with 98.7 percent of its capacity. Divide the distance by the charges and each one covered 86 km, which reframes what the test actually proved.
