The two extended-range SUVs are 19 mm apart in length and run the same Huawei driver-assistance stack. FAW-Volkswagen's ID. AURA T6 goes the other way, at 135,900 yuan on architecture licensed from Xpeng.
Honda Cuts China Capacity From 1.2 Million to 720,000 as GAC Plant Closes
Honda will close at least one GAC joint-venture plant in China by June, with a second Dongfeng-JV closure under review. Sales fell 24 percent in 2025 to 647,000 vehicles, off a 1.2-million peak in 2023. The retreat takes Honda's China footprint down to roughly the scale of one Chinese domestic brand's global operation.
