The long-wheelbase Mercedes-Benz GLE made its global debut at the Chengdu Motor Show running assisted driving co-developed with Momenta, the Shanghai startup Mercedes first invested in back in 2017. Chinese smart-driving suppliers are now pushing into global vehicle programs.

AUDI's second China-exclusive production model debuts at Auto China 2026 on April 24. The E7X electric SUV measures 5,049 mm, offers RWD 402 hp or AWD 671 hp (0-100 km/h in 3.97s), runs Momenta Flywheel ADAS with roof LiDAR, and uses the SAIC-co-developed Advanced Digitized Platform. CATL batteries up to 109.3 kWh for 751 km CLTC.
