Toyota Will Build Its Next Lexus EV in China Before Japan
Nikkei reports Toyota will develop and produce a new Lexus electric SUV at its Shanghai plant from next autumn, starting at about 1,000 units a month. Against nearly 810,000 Toyota sales in China through July, the plant is a capability project rather than a volume one.
