Introduction: The concept of a personal luxury coupe was not new for Mercedes-Benz when it introduced the 2015 S-Class Coupe. Yet, it tried to compete with the luxury segment, exceeding the carmaker's premium status.

Introduction: The coupe version of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class was introduced at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. It replaced the previous CL-class in the German's stable. It was built to compete against Bentley Continental GT.
